Textease Studio CT Mathematics Examples - Welsh Version

These examples have been compiled to support teachers in the teaching of mathematics.

They have been built in Textease Studio CT and make use of the various functionalities of the application.

They have been carefully sorted to match the Curriculum for Wales for both the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 2 in terms of Skills and Range.

The activities themselves have been sorted into year group folders to reflect the four ‘skills’ categories of number (N), measures and money (M), shape, position and movement (S)  and handling data (D). In this way, with reference to the spreadsheets provided, teachers will be able to pick out the key objectives for focus.

The activities are built with a concept of ‘Adopt, adapt and innovate’ in mind. Details of this and the variety of ways to use the activities can be found in the notes.

The compilation of the activities and the matching of them to the new curriculum was carried out in late November by mathematics subject leaders from Conwy schools. We are most grateful for their help and their professionalism.
